1. stink

이런 형식의 포스팅은 처음이라 설명이 필요할 것 같다. 숫자 옆에 있는 표현은 읽으면서 모르겠는 단어나 표현이다. 그 아래는 검색해서 나온 뜻이다. 그리고 그 밑에 수준에는 예문을 적었다.
매일 10페이지씩 진도를 나간다. 흐름이고 뭐고 없다. 딱 10페이지. 총 6회를 반복하는데, 리스닝부터 시작한다. 1회 리스닝하면서 대강 어떤 내용인지 파악한다. 2회 리스닝 때는 1회 때 이해한 내용이 맞는지 한 번 더 집중해서 듣는다. 3회는 책을 보면서 리스닝한다. 4회 때는 더 이상 듣지 않고 소리내서 읽는다. 이 때 모르는 표현은 언더라인 한다. 5회 때도 음독을 하되 언더라인이 있는 표현은 사전을 찾아가면서 내용을 완벽 이해한다. 6회 때는 다시 음독한다. 끝으로 그날 몰랐던 표현 중 4가지를 선정해서 독서카드를 작성한다.
이 방법이 뭐 영어 실력 향상에 도움이 되는지 안 되는지 모르겠다. 그냥 한다. 이렇게 하는 내 모습에 내가 취한 거라 해도 상관없다. 어떻게든 되겠지.
